The Town of Cochrane is beginning the 2027 budget planning process—and your input matters.
This budget will guide how we invest in the services and infrastructure you rely on every day. From roads and parks to public safety and community programs, every decision involves balancing priorities.
We’re inviting residents to share what matters most so Council can make informed decisions that reflect community needs. For the past several years, the Town has partnered with independent research firm, Advanis, to gather feedback from a broad cross-section of residents. This approach helps ensure community voices are heard throughout the budget process.
👉 Take the survey by May 4, 2026
👉 Be entered to win $150 gift certificate to a local business of your choice.
Why your input matters
Building a budget means making choices. Investing more in one area may mean reducing or delaying investment in another. Your feedback helps Administration understand community priorities and guides how funding is allocated.
How to participate
Beginning April 7, every household in Cochrane will receive a letter in the mail with details on how to participate. Some residents may also be contacted by phone by Advanis as part of the engagement process.
When you receive your letter:

Data is used to ensure feedback reflects the broader community
