Help Shape the Future of Policing in Cochrane Survey open until August 24, 2025
The Town of Cochrane is reviewing how policing services are delivered in our community — and we want to hear from you.
To support this work, we've partnered with Western Management Consultants (WMC) to conduct a comprehensive study on the future of policing in Cochrane. This includes looking at both the RCMP and our municipal enforcement services.
We’re inviting all Cochrane residents to take part in this short survey to share your experiences and views on community safety and policing. Your input will help guide decisions that affect how policing is delivered in the years ahead.
Why your feedback matters: This study will help us:
Assess how effective and cost-efficient our current policing services are
Evaluate the long-term sustainability of the RCMP model, based on current federal and provincial priorities
Compare how policing is delivered in similar communities
Better understand your concerns and experiences with crime and safety
Explore new options to ensure community safety in Cochrane
What this survey will tell us:
How safe residents feel in the community
Levels of trust and satisfaction with police and municipal enforcement
Whether you believe we’re getting good value for money in local policing
The survey takes just 8–10 minutes to complete, and your feedback will play a key role in shaping the future of policing in Cochrane.
Thank you for sharing your voice.
